Digital Visa, Mastercard, and American Express eGift Cards can be used online at any merchant website that accepts Visa, Mastercard, or American Express in the United States. Select the View and Print Your eGift Card link in the eGift Card delivery email.To use your third-party gift card online at, you’ll enter the gift card as a credit card payment and the CVV code during the checkout process.When you use the card, your balance will be reduced by the full amount of the purchase, including sales tax. The hold will be removed within seven days. When using your card at locations such as restaurants, hotels or salons, the merchant may hold an additional amount for tips or other charges. If purchasing gas, pay inside to avoid a temporary hold of funds. Your card can't be used for cash advances, ATM transactions or at casinos. Just present your card at the time of payment and sign the receipt. Physical gift cards with a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express logo can be used at any merchant that accepts Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.If you lose your card, this number must be brought into a participating DCU Branch to receive a replacement. Make a copy of the card number for your protection - Keep a copy of the original 16-digit card number in a safe place.DCU Visa Gift Cards are not reloadable - Please discard after the funds have been used.
